Putting aside just how smooth the music is for a moment - check out the animated motion sequence of this music video by The Fray called "Heartless". It is mesmerizing watching the heartbroken boy in the video have his emotions visually come to life from the doodles sketched in his notebook.
For those of us old enough to remember A-Ha's "Take On Me" music video - which in its heyday (circa 1984) was creatively ground-breaking - "Heartless" is an all-grown-up spin-off.
And for those of you youngsters who have never heard or seen "Take On Me", here it is in all its 80's glory, complete with gelled out hair and heavy synthesizers (but no denying, still retains some of its cool factor):

That A-Ha video was one of my favorites! Back in the day when the music channels actually aired videos :)
I know, right!? I miss those days.
