Adele

I have not stopped listening to this new artist, Adele. She is British and reminds me of Amy Winehouse who Adele lists as one of her inspirations on her myspace page. (Only better, in my opinion - and ironically graduated from the same art performing school as Winehouse, the BRIT School in Croydon). Her debut album is "19" (available on iTunes exclusively until June). It's worth the $9.99. Trust me.

Favorite tracks of mine include "Chasing Pavement" (released as single and YouTube video), "Make You Feel My Love" (Dylan cover) and "Tired" but the entire album is phenomenal, especially considering she is all of 20 years old. And, still lives with her mother in a flat in North London. Which begs the question: What was I doing when I was 20?
