I'm one of those people that likes winter. I like the thought of Christmas being near, and seeing fluffy, white, sparkling snow. Unfortunately, that is NOT what we've had this year.
This winter has been one of rain, sleet, ice pellets and all kinds of nasty "Mixed Precipitation."
It has become a long grey season, and I am so ready for Spring! My daffodils are popping out of the ground, and I've seen one bluebird already - Spring can't be far behind, can it?
Yeah, good luck with that, LOL. More mixed stuff is predicted for the end of this week. I think this weekend I'm either going to curl up with a good book next to a roaring fire, or go to my local grocery store and purchase bunches of cut flowers and just PRETEND it is Spring.
How are you handling winter this year? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

What THIS winter has meant to me...

I always think the winters are too long and the summers are too short. However, if it is winter, i agree … it should snow!
I vote for the fireside book and a bouquet of tulips. Why not both?
